SEAFOOD - Restaurants with Seafood in Costa Rica

Here are some of our FAV Restaurants for SEAFOOD in Costa Rica!

For me, if I'm desiring a basic Seafood fix, I go to my FAV Tico Restaurant and order the Marisco's Casada (grilled with LOTS of garlic!!) with rice and beans, salad and a little Platano strip for 1,600-c (that's just $3.20!):
LA CASONA DE LALLY
Escazu (Centro)  -
La Casona de Lally is a 200 year old pueblo home in Centro Escazu (the heart of the REAL part of Escazu) and it’s my FAV spot to go for Tipico Tico food as it’s GOOD and REALLY REALLY CHEAP with food like REALLY TASTY CASADAS like fish, chicken or beef or pork chops grilled, fried or with garlic – YUMMMMM – and here they’re only 1,300-1,800-c!!  I LOVE their CEVICHE (and don’t care for their guacamole though many do [I ONLY like guac made with Haas avacados]).  EVERYTHING I’ve had here was been REALLY GOOD!!
LOCATION: Go directly up the hill at the Scotia Split.  At the sign that says "no Hay Paseo" - turn Right.  Go 2 blocks & it’s the corner restaurant on the Right.  Park on your Right just after the restaurant.

La Princesa Marina (the Sea Princess)
One of the MOST POPULAR places Tico’s go for CHEAP SEAFOOD!   Not high quality & my friend felt it was noisy like a cafateria but my dish was tasty (Mariscada (seafood fountain) with garlic/ajillo for 2,800-c.  Filets range from 2,100-3,300-c, Pasta dishes from 1,600-2,600.  Whole Fish 4,300.  Chicken dishes 1,450-2,100.  Meats 1,800-3,800-c, HOURS:  11am-10:30pm Daily (Closed Dec. 25 & Jan. 1). CC:  AmEx, MC, V.
LOCATIONS: San Jose-Sabana Park (296-7667 / 296-3739) - West side of Sabana Park – 150 mts from Channel 7/200 meters south of the National Stadium – DELIVERY (ONLY from Sabana restaurant & within a 5km radius)-11am-2:30pm & 6-9pm.
Moravia (297-1276) - in front of Sony Music
Curridabat (280-8240) - 350 mts East Register Nacional
Alajuela (433-7117) - North side of catholic church of Barrio San Jose.

Parajes Marinos  – CLOSED (I've left this one in in hopes they'll re-open)
Santa Ana (282-9383)
LOCATION:  SOUTH/Left side of Old Road JUST at the point where if you’re coming from Escazu – you MUST turn right (or you go onto a one-way street against traffic)
