The REBIRTH of Café des Artistas with new owner professionally trained Chef Chris Reeves and still a WONDERFUL FUNKY/COOL/ARTSY AMBIANCE (on of my FAV places for this!!)!! AWESOME place for BREAKFAST (3,500-5,150-c)!! Eggs Benedict, U.S. style homemade cinnamon rolls and their FRENCH TOAST with our new home made cinnamon-sugar Challah bread and their black bean-chorizo quiche that will be served with a cilantro-lime sour cream and diced tomatoes. Watch for their upcoming EXECUTIVE LUNCH SPECIAL. Lunches range from 4,800-5,200-c. WEEKLY SOUP SPECIALS. The new menu will include many of the old delish menu items as well as a Chicken Chorizo Burger with avacado mayo and a french dip with garlic-herb cream cheese, caramelized onions and an Au Jus to dip into, Pressed Turkey on Foccacia with sliced Bacon; Garlic Scented Spinach, raspberry mustard and mozzarella cheese pressed on the grill; and Blackened FISH TACOS with shredded cabbage, black bean-roasted corn relish and a mango-chipolte sauce!! You HAVE to try their brownie that was the BEST brownie I have EVER eaten in my LIFE - both the BROWNIE part & the CRANBERRY's they added - LINGUASMO/TONGUEGASMIC!!!! Another specialty of the house is their Whiskey Bomb... a marble cake with whiskey.
